Here at Kinnie Village, we're dedicated to providing a safe space for everyone! Whether you're Otherkin, Alterhuman, or a System/Plural individual, our doors are open to you. Our goal is to create a sense of community amongst our members– to provide a safe, relaxed atmosphere that's warm and welcoming.Our staff are approachable at all times!
If you ever have an issue, please do not hesitate to reach out!This server is open to all, where everyone can be themselves. People who are unsure of their place in the community can still find a corner for themselves, and we have a glossary for those not in the loop with many of the modern terms.We here at Kinnie Village are always constantly pushing forwards to create a space that we would have wanted when we first discovered the community ourselves, and we are always striving to create a place that others can call home.At Kinnie Village, we’re all family– because we’re all Kin!

Rule 1) 15+ Age Lock
This server is currently age locked to 15+ due to the server's
maturity rating of Teen and Up.Rule 2) Don't Spread Harmful Rhetoric
Any form of bigotry or otherwise unlawful discrimination against protected individuals will result in removal from the server.Rule 3) Respect Blacklisted Subjects
Blacklisted subjects can only be discussed in Alleyways with corresponding tw/cw prefix/suffix and || spoiler bars || attached to the message.Rule 4) Respect Each Other
No member is to be discriminated against in regards to their kins, sources, ships, canons, sysmates/alters, nor is any member to be discriminated against in regards to their system-type.Rule 5) Pluralkit and Tupperbox
ALL members who use PK or Tup MUST have a usage tag. This can be a phrase, emoji, or an acronym that is applied on both a member’s display name as well as on ALL proxies.Rule 6) Verification Process
ALL new members MUST provide some form of social media for the verification. This is non-negotiable. If you do not feel comfortable sharing it publicly, please contact the Staff Team.Rule 7) Reaching Out
If a member has any questions, suggestions, concerns, or situations to report they may open a ticket with the staff to bring them up. You can also tag the @Team directly in the event of a current situation.Rule 8) Remember To Have Fun!

Kin Terminology
Otherkin
Otherkin individuals are people who identify with or as an animal, fictional character, or otherwise unknown entity that does not currently exist within our known world. Otherkin has two major branches- spiritual kinning, and psychological kinning. Otherkin also has subsets, such as fictionkin, [animal]kin, and [entity]kinSpiritual Kinning
Spiritual kinning is based on belief in the multiverse theory, the belief that there are infinite universes, and reincarnation across these universes. Someone who is a spiritual kinnie would be someone who believes that, in Universe A they were [entity], but upon dying and being reborn into this Universe (which we will call Universe B) they became who they are today.Psychological Kinning
Psychological kinning is based upon theories that the reason why an individual is otherkin is psychological in nature. Psychological kins frequently believe that they really are that [entity], as apposed to the spiritual kin ideology that they were that [entity.] This type of kin encapsulates everything that is NOT a spiritual belief within the kin community.Kintype
Kintypes are the specific kins that fall under the otherkin subsets ([animal]kin, [entity]kin, [fictional entity]kin). IE., "My kintype is a wolf." "I am demonkin." "I am kin with [character from media.]"Kinsider
This is a term used by the kin community indicating that they are still
determining whether or not they are kin with [entity.]Kin Memories
These are phenomena in which an otherkin individual will have extreme feelings of deja vu, flashback type experiences, or vivid dreams that are just a little bit too coherent and fit a little bit too well into a kin canon. These are often memories or remembered sensations/feelings from a past life.Kin Shift
A kin shift is when an otherkin individual is more connected with a specific kin and mindset at that time. For example, they may have been feeling connected with [entity A] for months, but have recently began shifting into [entity B.]
